Istanbul & Antalya- Discovering Turkey

After breakfast today, you will be picked up at around 8:00 am for the Sultanahmet district. It is the oldest part of the city with a rich history. Your first stop of the day will be the Hagia Sophia. Our guide will explain to you the relevance of this building and how it got transformed from a church to a mosque and became a museum now. Later, we visit the Hippodrome of Constantinople, followed by the Blue Mosque. Take a lot of pictures from inside and outside the building.

Then we head to the Grand Bazaar, a bustling shopping complex where you can shop clothing, food, decorative products, and other items. During your journey towards the bazaar, catch glimpses of other historical buildings, such as the Tomb of Mehmed II, the Firuz Aga Mosque, and the Tomb of Sultan Ahmet I. After exploring and shopping at the Grand Bazaar, we will make a stop for lunch.

Then, we will visit the Topkapi Palace Museum that served as the primary residence of the Ottoman sultans in the 15th century. And our final stop will be the Little Hagia Sophia. Return to the hotel and overnight stay in Istanbul.

Important: Topkapi Palace remains closed on Tuesdays; St. Sophia Museum remains closed on Mondays, and The Grand Bazaar remains closed on Sundays.

Today, you have the flexibility to choose either the morning or afternoon option for the half-day tour. Accordingly, you will be picked up from your hotel. Your tour will start with a visit to the Spice Bazaar, a colorful place offering countless varieties of spices, dried nuts, Turkish delights, etc. It is one of the largest bazaars in the city. The tour will guide you on the best kiosks and stalls to visit since it is a massive marketplace. After exploring and shopping, we will head proceed to the shores of the Bosphorus Strait for a cruise tour. During your voyage, you will spot beautiful historical Istanbul buildings, including the summer home of Ottoman sultans, 15th-century fortress Rumelihisari, the Dolmabahce Palace, the Beylerbeyi Palace, and others. Later, you will be transferred to the airport for your flight to Cappadocia. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel. Check-in and stay overnight.

Finally, you will be transferred to the airport for your flight to Antalya, a resort city in Turkey. Upon arrival, get transferred to your hotel. Stay overnight in Antalya.

Have your breakfast, and then you will be picked up at around 09:30 from your hotel for the tour of Antalya Waterfalls.

Düden Waterfalls are a group of waterfalls located 12km Northeast of Turkey’s province, Antalya. They end at a point from where the waters of the Lower Düden Falls drop off a rocky cliff directly into the Mediterranean Sea. Later, we make a quick stop for lunch and then drive towards Antalya’s old city center. Here, you will have approximately two hours to explore the Harbour. You can opt for a one-hour boat tour (at an additional cost) and enjoy shopping at the local shops. Return to your hotel for an overnight stay.

Time to head back to your home. Enjoy your breakfast and you will be transferred to the airport for your return flight to Istanbul. Upon arrival at the airport in Istanbul, you will finally board your home-bound flight.
